"How do you know that?" she asked then looked up at the waiter. "I'll take an Iced Tea. Thank you." then she turned back to look at Rynoc. "Why do you think that?" she asked again after he had told the waiter what he wanted to drink.

"Because, you like me," he smiled. Then, changing the subject, he said, "So. You're interested in, what, now? It's our first date, remember?"

Christy sighed. "Not THAT much of a first date." she said dramatically. "Besides," she lowered her voice, "you already know everything about me." She looked up as the waiter came with her iced tea. She got some sweetener and poured it into her drink. She noticed Rynoc's face. "whats wrong, dont like iced tea?" she asked him, putting down the sugar wrappers and taking a drink. She kept her eyes on him.

"I don't know everything about you," Rynoc protested. "You've changed a lot. And I don't delve that far into your mind, so I don't automatically know everything about the 'new' you." He looked at her inquisitively.

"Fine. I am obsessed with sports," she rolled her eyes and sent, 'what else is new.' ," I am apparently the most wanted girl at my college and I hate it because all guys see in me now are boobs, blonde hair, and a butt. My friends are all b itches, I realized that recently. And yeah, thats pretty much my life. Oh, and partys. I go to lots of those." she said, taking another sip of her iced tea. She knew that he was thinking about everything she had said and basically summing it all up. "So youre popular?" he asked. "Unfortunately." she repled. She folded her hands on the table and asked him, "So what are you interested in?"

Rynoc thought the news over and said, "Well. I'm your typical nerdork," he grinned. "But I'm athletic, too. I don't play any sports since I'm in college. But I do run all the time and enter some local races. I hang out with the 'freaks' or 'interesting people,' as we said earlier."
(ahem... edit earlier outfit.. i thought he was a prep and i forgot he's an interesting person! hehe so he's wearing a suit jacket and a funky rolling stones tshirt over jeans. yep... i will never be a good guy dresser will i.)

Christy smiled. "Were still as different as night and day." she said amused. "My life is still packed with sports. Mostly basketball and soccer."

"That's cool," Rynoc replied absentmindedly as the waiter walked up to get food orders.

Christy rolled her eyes and looked over the menu, even though she already knew what she was getting. The waiter looked at her expectantly. "i'll take a ceasar salad with italian dressing, no crutons please." she said expertly.

"Oh, now we're a vegetarian, and a dieter at that," Rynoc remarked after he ordered a salad himself. With croutons.

Christy looked at him and laughed. "Ceasar salad would involve chicken at this place. They serve everything different." she looked at him and shook her head. "i am not on a diet. most guys dont like girls eating a lot because the bill gets big."

"Whoops. Forgot to tell you, we're on a credit card, so everything's good," Rynoc said. "Why would I care about that anyways? To make up for it, we'll get a gigantic, fattening, delicious dessert."

Christy laughed. "You still have to pay for a credit card bill. Im a girl, I know how money works." she said, being an excellent shopper herself. "But if you insist we'll order a big crazy dessert." she got a glint in her eyes.

"Sounds good to me," Rynoc agreed lightheartedly. "And I know. I've got it under control-- I haven't been on a date in a while, so I've got room to splurge." He winked.
