Christy glared at him again. "It is NOT fun!" she cried. She pouted a bit, waiting for him to give in and teach her.

"Maybe not for you," he laughed, loving the look she got on her face when she was angry. He touched her pouty lip and relented, "Okay, okay. I'll teach you."

She smiled and kissed him. "Yay! Thank you! I love you!" she covered her mouth, not realizing the words had slipped out so easily...then she realized that she had meant it.

Rynoc grinned and replied, "I think I just might love you too..." and kissed her again. Then he got serious and started to tell her how to block her mind.

Christy listened carefully as Rynoc told her how to block her mind. She found it was hard to concentrate after she had that arm fuzzy feeling inside her after he said that he loved her back.

Rynoc laughed as he noticed Christy's unprotected thoughts and the reason. 'Here,' he mindspoke to her, 'clear your mind. meditate with me...'

Christy took deep breaths and started to clear her mind...all of her worries and thoughts drifting to the back of her mind, where they wouldnt bother her for the time being.

Rynoc felt Christy's thoughts drifting out of his voluntary reach and smiled, glad that Christy could get rid of some stress through something he taught her.
((have you noticed how all of our character couples get together after one day? ONE?))

((l0lyea, but we never kno how to switch days..so technically we could pretend that most of this happens over a time.))
Christy felt her thoughts getting pushed back and laughed gleefully, causing all of them to return. "Danggit..." she mumbled, irratated. She cleared her mind again, this time not laughing.

Rynoc entered her mind gently and helped her push back thoughts, sending an image of a calm, smooth lake to her for inspiration.

Christy looked at him angrily. "I dont need help." she snapped, then immediately felt bad. She was used to doing everything on her own. 'Sorry....' she mind sent to him.

'Whats that supposed to mean?' she mind-sent back. She sighed. 'Never-mind...I already know that answer.' she looked down, kind of upset with herself for never knowing she had magic and that she never paid attention when eragon had tried to teach her to block her mind. Her heart leapt for joy when she came up with an idea. She was going to find Eragon's lessons in her memory and try them later, when she was at home. She'd be better next time.
